The infant insert is completely worth it! For one, our little one sits way more comfortable in the MamaRoo. But the best part about it in my opinion is how quick and easy it is to wash! It catches all the spit up and because of the insert we haven't had the need to wash the whole seat, just the insert. The reversible print fits any room style. Our 4 month old is visibly comfortable when sitting on the swing insert. We can definietly tell a difference in how calm she is when sitting on the insert. The fabric has proven durable and extremely easy to wipe clean after spit ups and small accidents. We have put it through the wash multiple times, and each time, it has come out like new. The insert has held up very well and kept its original shape and feel. After using this insert, there's no way we could go back to nothing! The Infant Insert for the MamaRoo swing is a must! It provides extra support and comfort for newborns and young infants. I felt like my son was nestled in and snuggled being in the swing with the insert. He seemed to have more support and be more calm and relaxed with the insert in the swing. The Newborn insert is a super cute design and really spices up the 4moms MamaRoo multi-motion swing! I think the single colored MamaRoo swing lacks color and is slightly boring (I own the black one). The newborn insert is adorable and the reversible fabric gives you flexibility to use either side based on your preference. It fits nicely in the swing and cut outs for the 5-point harness is spot on. I like that it is easy to remove and clean, and it gives me the ability to take it out without removing the entire swing cover. I love the option of an infant insert. I've had newborns be as little as 7lbs and as big as 10lbs and regardless, I think the infant insert is a beautiful addition. For starters, the reversible patterns are so nice to be able to change things up. It cleans so easily. I love the additional comfort and support the insert offers the littlest of babies. Without the insert, someone might roll up burp cloths or another unsafe contraption to keep the baby's head from falling. I absolutely love that the insert provides a safe support. Great accessory for the loose neck stage. I really liked that it was not only neutral colors but also reversible. The material was really breathable especially during hot summer days, we tried this with my 4 month old niece and while it would work great with a newborn I think for the price point it's high for the amount of time it can be used. This insert was easy to clean and can be quickly tossed into the washer. I do feel that people buy these expensive items for the brand name and not the actual functionality but I will say that this was on my registry because of the simple aesthetic.
