I received the infant insert to try with the new MamaRoo as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I tried the insert, but ultimately my baby was big enough to use the swing without it, so I removed it. My baby has acid reflux and accidentally spit up on the insert a few minutes after I first put him in the MamaRoo. I was able to clean the insert with a wipe and it looked brand new again. I love the new look of the insert (I have the older model as well) and being reversible is a plus. The colors can be used for a boy or girl. If you are not a fan of the mint color, you can use the white side. I liked the pattern on it as well, It definitely fits in with the decor of my house. The mint looked great when contrasted against the black swing. I wish that I had this available when my little one was littler!

I received this as a part of the stellar parent product panel. This was so cute and added style to the 4 moms seat. It was super easy to throw in the wash if a spit up or blow out episode happened! I loved that it made my baby feel more cozy. It did only work until he was about 4 months though, so get it from the start!

First, I want to thank the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this product! We loved the infant insert. It gave our baby so much support and comfort while in the mamaRoo. Both my wife and I thought our newborn looked much more comfortable with the insert than without it. I'm not sure that the baby would have been able to go in the mamaRoo as soon as she did without the insert. Our baby fussed quite a bit when we first put her in the mamaRoo before installing the insert, so I can say for sure that she enjoyed the insert. My wife loves the reversible pattern. Every few days I noticed that she has flipped it to freshen up the look of the mamaRoo. Both patterns are very nice. My wife also noted that the insert is so very easy to clean. All you need is to wipe it down with a baby wipe and all the messes come right off! Overall, I am very happy with this insert and would recommend that it be purchased with the mamaRoo.

The infant insert is great for adding a bit more support for your little one when they are still pretty floppy and need the extra comfort. The reversible designs are pretty great as well because it allows you to either have a pop of color, or something that calls less attention to your swing. My kiddos loved when it was facing with the yellow side up because they enjoyed the pop of color. I was happy with both sides and appreciated the extra comfort and support it provided while my son was still figuring out how to keep his head a bit more stable. My son seemed to love it as well! The only downside to it was that as my son grew, it became more difficult to strap him into the MamaRoo with the infant insert as well. Since my son is a pretty big baby, he seemed to outgrow the ability to use the infant insert a little bit earlier than he was developmentally ready. This meant we had to deal with a bit of time where the buckling was a bit of a pain, but not impossible. I still think it was absolutely worth it though!
