I'm a hair diva and have never seen a brush like this. I got it for my toddler who struggles with hair brushing and a very sensitive head. This brush is strong and bristles really do help with all the tangled. This now lives in my bathroom as a favorite

I started using this for my daughters hair because she gets tangles like crazy in it. She has pretty thick hair and this works wonders on it. It makes it so much easier for me and less time to do it without her yelling about me hurting her.

I am not exaggerating when I say this brush is the best brush I have ever used for my daughter's hair. She's 4 and has her hair down to the middle of her back. The texture of her hair is like mine, fine, but she has a lot of it. She always wakes up with a proverbial rat's nest (as my mother referred to masses of tangles) smack dab in the middle of the back of her head. I used to dread brushing her hair in the mornings before school. Now, with this Frida Baby Detangling brush, i have no worries. With a brush that had the same detangling claims as this one, I would use detangling spray but it would take at least 5 minutes to work my way through her hair, oftentimes longer. I still use the detangling spray but only where it's needed now, and start in with the Frida Baby brush and it takes 2 minutes tops to get her hair smoothed out. I honestly don't know what the secret is with this magical brush. The bristles are spaced out a bit and are thin and flexible. It comes with a handy cover to keep the bristles' shape. The only improvement I could see with this magic wand is maybe a bit of grippy coating on the handle which is still quite comfortable to hold as is. Not that I expect it to any time soon but I will definitely be buying another one of these when this one shows signs of wearing out. I HIGHLY recommend this brush for the tender-headed lil one in your life.

My boys have thick curly hair and this brush is amazing it gets all the tangles out and doesn't hurt their heads while brushing. I wish I would have known about this brush sooner.

The brush is great for fine hair. However the tips of the brushes feel a little harsh on my baby's scalp. I would recommend a little ball at the tip so it is more smooth.

I recently got this for my 3 year old, she has very curly hair and is also very tender headed and hates having her hair brushed. This worked great to avoid pulling her hair and she actually likes using it

My daughter (5y/o) and I have the exact same type of hair. Fine, straight and there's a lot of it. Our hair is easily tangled, and one of us dislikes having her hair brushed out. This brush works surprisingly well, is not painful and is easy to clean. We love it!

This is perfect for babies heads. My babe has curly, soft hair and the curls are super tight. He doesn't cry at all when I am untangling, whether it's wet or not. SERIOUSLY recommend. I love it!!

I got this detangler for my 4 year old that has long curly hair. I have straight hair and am still learning how to properly care for my daughter's curls. I was skeptical of the design of this because the outside bristles really are comb like in that they don't bend at all while the center bristles are very flexible to not get caught on tangles - and it really works well! As I've been taught about curly hair, that I'm only supposed to brush it when wet, I use this after bath time to brush any tangles out and it works really well! No complaints from pulling of the hair from my daughter either. The really great part about this detangler is that it really helps pull hair back into a ponytail or braid when wet or dry. The comb like bristles really are able to move the thick hair along the scalp back into a ponytail. This was a struggle before with other brushes but this one did it with ease. The case is really great too so that it doesn't get caught in the drawer with all the hair ties. It can also store standing up which can be helpful on the counter.

My daughters hair gets so crazy tangled and it's always so hard to try to get her to let me brush it out. This brush has been so great in lessening the battle that it has become to brush out her locks. The bristles help separate and detangle the knots without force. It's light in weight and comes with a cover for the bristles.
