Description:

As a parent, you want to show your little one the world. When you’re travelling away from home with your newborn or toddler, you want to ensure your baby has the same comforts as they do at home. The Iris travel cot has two sleeping levels, so you can raise the extra-comfortable mattress to put your newborn down for a nap or lower it to ensure your toddler has a comfy place to sleep.

Made with premium fabrics and luxurious wood effect finishes, the Iris ensures comfortable naps, snoozes and night-time sleeps for newborns and toddlers alike.

Made from EcoCare, 100% recycled fabrics.

Product Features:

  • Compact & Lightweight : Weighing less than 6kg, the compact Iris travel cot folds and unfolds easily and makes the perfect travel companion.
  • Extra comfortable mattress : The Iris’ extra thick, super-comfortable mattress gives your baby all the comforts of home, away from home. Taking sleeping to a whole new level.
  • Two levels of sleep : With two sleeping levels, you can raise the mattress so your newborn can have a nap or lower it so your toddler has a super-comfy place to sleep or play.
  • EcoCare 100% recycled fabric : For comfort, convenience & sustainability, the Iris has a removable, machine washable cover made from EcoCare, 100% recycled fabrics.
  • Included travel cot bag for easy carrying and transporting, ideal for quick sleepovers or holidays
  • High mesh sides ensure your baby has good air circulation, so they’re always comfortable; whether they’re having a quick afternoon nap or a sleeping through the night.
  • Ease of use : The higher sleeping level for newborns means you don’t have to bend right over to put your baby down for a nap, preventing any back strains. And its wide open top design makes it easier for you to get your toddler in and out, from the lower position.

Usage by Age :

  • From day one to approx. 3 years old, the Iris travel cot is the ultimate travelling companion.
  • Designed to be adjustable, it has two different height levels for newborns or toddlers. Raise the mattress high so you can easily put your newborn (0–9kg) down for a nap.
  • And if they wake up you can easily pick them up for a cuddle without having to bend down all the way.
  • When your baby learns how to sit up, you can switch the Iris to a toddler travel cot, by moving the mattress down to the lowest position (0–15kg).
  • And with its high mesh sides, you can relax knowing that they can’t climb out when your back is turned.

Always bumping in the bed legs, baby sleeps on the floor ...

When the bed is set at the high level - it is more or less fine, just you always bump in the feet of the bed as they are wider than the bed itself. Lightweight, comfortable travel cot. Great to have the higher level for our 4 month old who is still feeding/waking regularly through the night… saved my back! Mattress is firm and comfy.

When you put the bed to the low postions, the baby sleeps on the floor - the matress is very thin and if the floor is not warm, then baby will be cold or you need extra matress/warm things under it. I would not recommend this bed.

Really easy to build and take apart and looks great. We're using it as an upgrade to our bassinet as little one out grew his but he's not ready to move to his crib and long term we wanted a travel cot. I do find it a bit wobbly in the newborn setting, although trust it's not going anywhere! Also little one is 6 months and has plenty of room but I'm dubious it would last to three years.

PRO: I´m using the travel cot daily since a month and I am very satisfied with the comfort. + The bed is packed very small and takes up little space in the trunk. + The instructions were simple and it was quick to assemble the bed. + The bed has 2 steps, it is safe for slightly older babies as well . + I liked the design very much and the fabric is also very qualitative and did not smell of plastic etc. after opening it for the first time. + The bed has its own bag, which makes it easy to transport. CONS: - The mattress is quite hard and I had to soften it with a blanket. - The Bed is not long enough to use after 1 Year old child.

I tested the MaxiCosi Iris travel cot in the past weeks. We often travel and need a travel cot. I was looking for one that is very easy to install and only takes a couple minutes to dismantle. This cot from the brand MaxiCosi has a modern design and two different height stages. The instruction contains many pictures and understandable. The first installation took several minutes. It was much easier when I didn't need the instruction guide any more. It also took only two minutes to dismantle the travel cot. The travel cot is very solid and of high quality. I recommend the travel cot to you if you are looking for a good and easy set-up travel cot.

We took it with us when we drove to my parents house so my son had his own bed to sleep. He found it very comfy because he slept very well in it. We also used it over the day like a pack n play. so he could play with his toys and could not get away ;-) It is really easy to assemble. And I mean really easy. Just click the legs in and secure the straps. Thats it. I never had a lighter and easy travel cot like this before. I am very happy with it and glad we have gotten this

This travel cot is very convenient, easy to carry, install, and fold. The two levels are ideal, your baby can sleep on a higher level when he is just a few months old. We use this travel cot for vacations and sleepovers, and it is really great-looking compared to other travel cots!
